F#'s powerful type system and support for units of measure allow developers to write safer, better code. In this talk, we will look at the F# type system and contrast it against what is available in C#. We will see how this deeper, more robust type system affords us the ability to build rules engines complete with compile-time checking. We will also explore how a set of units of measure provides a safety rail for developers, reducing the risk of invalid calculations.
